This is a famous pastry from Sariaya, Quezon that got its name "Pinagong" from the word "Pagong" or turtle because it is shaped like a turtle's back. It has firm texture with milky and creamy taste. It is best eaten with tea or coffee and yes, you can eat it on its own.
