Puso, also known as hanging rice, is just plain cooked rice wrapped inside coconut leaves woven to form a diamond shape container. What makes it special? It's portable and perfect for those who love to eat al fresco or what Cebuanos call "kinawboy." Forget the spoon and fork or even chopsticks when you can just eat it by slicing the woven coconut leaf and you have the rice ready for the taking.
Usually, this is common sidewalk eateries called "pungko-pungko," where some people literally have to squat just to enjoy the local street food like ginabot, ngohiong, barbecue and other fried pork innards.
