Sutukil

For foreigners and non-Cebuano, Sutukil may sound too exotic but good thing it doesn't mean "shoot to kill." Traditionally known in Lapulapu City, one would not have the complete Cebuano experience if he/she doesn't partake on this favorite type of local dish.

It is the contraction of three common cooking method into a select choice of fresh seafoods. Su is "sugba" (grill), tu is "tuwa" (vinegary fish soup), and kil is "kilaw" (raw vinegary fish salad). Thus, su-tu-kil. All three dishes are served together.
